I recently installed JoomSEF (free) and purchased the VirtueMart extension because I was having huge problems with the SH404SEF component and need a better solution. I will gladly pay for the JoomSEF if I find that it works for me. Unfortunately I have run into the problem that my AJAX add to cart button is broken. I have seen several posts about changing QUERY_STRING option to YES but I cannot find that option in the JoomSEF Configuration page. Am I missing something? I know I am tired but I have looked at that page for the last 20 minutes and don't see that option in the config.

I am running JoomSEF 2.3.2 on a Joomla 1.0.15 site with VM 1.1.3

the problem with QUERY_STRING applies only to JoomSEF 3.x on Joomla 1.5.x.
I guess your problem might be in something else then.

at a guess i would say that the FREE Joomsef extension - its adding in the"Joomla SEF URLs by Artio" link at the end of the json that is returned to the "add to cart" ajax call.

Jan can you do a test for JRequest::getCmd('format') == 'raw' and if it is not append the url?

I appreciate you want to advertise with your free product but perhaps advertising to a JS script won't gain too many new customers ;)

By the way I got to this thread as I am encountering a similar issue with my component (Fabrik) when artiosef is enabled
