TOPIC: Category name in URL

Category name in URL 13 years, 10 months ago #18729

Just installed JoomSEF 3.6.2 and all my urls look like:

site.com/section name/category name/page.html

How can I remove /section name/category name/ form the body of link?

I want to see my site's url like this: site.com/page.html

Who can help me?

I also have this problem. I tried both enabling and disabling of the "Use index for sections and categories" but this had no effect. (I purged the existing URLs each time).

Help please?

Hello,

Open the Content extension parameters using the Manage Extensions page in JoomSEF. There you can customize the articles URLs - specifically the "Show Category" and "Show Section" options.
