It looks like, that Joom SEF is trying to create sef-URL from unknown parameters. Are you sure, that your Joom SEF is really switched on? And do you have Joom SEF extension for VirtueMart? Eventually you can try to update this extension too.
Some versions of Joomla are generating different parameters in URL. Maybe, that your Joom SEF version is not compatible with your Joomla version.

Such URLs can also be created by JoomSEF basic rewriting option. Open the VirtueMart JoomSEF extension parameters (using the Manage Extensions page in JoomSEF) and make sure that Handling on the Common tab is set to JoomSEF handler.
