hello @all.

JoomSEF created two links for a category blog:

firstlink:
index.php?option=com_content&id=73&layout=default&view=category&Itemid=206
news/allgemein/

secondlink:
index.php?option=com_content&id=73&layout=blog&view=category&Itemid=206
news/allgemein/2.html

but only the secondlink is used on the site. the problem is, the name of the firstlink
should be the name of the secondlink. Of course, i can rename the secondlink, but i have
too many blogcategory links, so this is not a alternative.

has anybody a idea?

Hi,

well as you can see from the original appearence of URLs, these 2 links differ in layout=blog vs. default parameter.
And that is obviously also reason of the duplicated SEO URL.

I however cannot tell you where it is coming from. For sure I can tell you it is somewhere in your site, as JoomSEF is not able to "make it out of nothing". :-) It always translates the original to SEF URL.

So solution to your problem is to locate where the unwanted link is coming from and remove or adjust it so it is the same (value of layout should be blog I assume).
