I'm using the following:
RHEL 4
Joomla 1.5.5 (also tried this on 1.5.3 with the same problem)
Joomla Theme: Evolution from YooTheme
Artio JoomSEF v3.1.2
PHP 4.4.4 (more info at

I am able to install Artio but when I enable it all pages show some sort of code over the page. A screenshot is at

My .htaccess file is enabled and I am positive it is available on the server since I'm root. Also I have used the older version of Artio within Joomla 1.0.13 without any problems on this same server.
Within Joomla's global configuration I have under SEO Settings both "Search Engine Friendly URLs" & "Use Apache mod_rewrite" set to Yes.
