Hello,

can you state what component are you using for your frontpage? If it is not com_frontpage or com_content, the problem might be there.

Hi,
I confirm I got the same behaviour because my front page component is not the default one. This is a regression and a loss of functionnalities because it used to work in the 1.5.1 version !
Moreover, when 404 are redirected to the frontpage, it doesn't work because the frontpage component is not found.
May you please improve Joomsef in order to fix that and make it run as it was in the previous versions ?
Regards

I have this problem as well, but only on PHP 5. If I fall back to PHP 4, everything works fine.

Anyone have a fix?

Good surprise,
since the last version (2.2.3), it seems to work again as it used to !

Holy cow, you're absolutely right!

I installed 2.2.3 (removing 2.2.2 first and doing a clean install just to be sure), and Eureka! It works again!

I can now use PHP 5 without issues. CB and Acajoom registration and confirmation work without issues. And I no longer need to have custom redirects for / and /index.php. JoomSEF correctly redirects these on its own to my home page.

As a side note, I exported my jos_redirection table before uninstalling and then imported it again so as not to leave any of my old redirects undefined. I probably wouldn't have needed to do so if I did an in place upgrade, but I wanted a clean slate.

Happy Thanksgiving!

=)
