In joomla 1.0, when i select 'mainmenu' there is no 'Default' item in the toolbar... ??

Oh, sorry, I did not notice it was J1.x. In J1.x a first published mainmenu item is considered the default.

unfortunately that doesn't work.. it always reverts to going to com_frontpage (my 2nd menu item) first.. How do i get the 1st menu item to become default?

with the latest update i was hoping this issue would have been resolved for joomla 1.0.X.. its to bad b/c i might have to move over to sh404sef component instead. I really enjoyed this component as it was very reliable, unfortunately this major draw back on not allowing the first menu item to be something other then com_frontpage is a deal breaker..

Well, we tried sh404sef and put it through some vigorous testing.. We are not happy with sh404sef at all compared to Artio JoomSEF.

sh404sef has only 1 single selling point. You can make 1st menu items to be something other then com_frontpage in Joomla 1.0; that in which is not supported by JoomSEF.

Artio team, would you please, PLEASE make available some patch or fix to allow 1st menu items to be regular and/or static content items for Joomla 1.0.

We do not wish to use sh404sef but we had to use it over the past couple months due to this minor, yet critical function.

I've been a supporter of Artio since 2005.

Please write back, help us out.
