I have installed Joomla 1.0.12 and Joom SEF (1.43 I think) installed on Linux w/Apache. It seems to install fine and the home page comes up but when I click on anything I get error 404.

I have installed this on a 2003 Server w/IIS6.

I have this installed under a sub folder on a live website. Joomla/JoomSEF is installed like this.

www.domain.com/joomla

I am in a bind and could really use some help. Thanks!

Check if the PHP version is in the 4.x.x branch. I have found that JoomSEF does not work on PHP 5.x.x

current version of JoomSEF works fine both with PHP5 and PHP4.

If you are getting 404 erros, this is mostly because error in .htaccess file. Either 3rd party section is not uncommented, or RewriteBase is wrong. Please, check the JoomSEF FAQs.
