I am having problems running ARTIO JoomSEF on one server. It's a virtual server and host doesn't alow file .htacecss, but I can send them the modification for mod_rewrite and they set it for me. Unfortunately since they did that, I can click on any link on the website and it only goes to homepage again, nowhere else. The url looks right, but the content is homepage. The "Search Engine Friendly URLs" in global setings are switched on, and it works fine when I switch JoomSEF off... Bus as soon as I switch JoomSEF on it stops working.
Would anyone please know what to do?

Hallo, I have the same problem and realy don't know how to fix that. Can anybody help us?
I sent to my hosting company the same rewrite_rules, like in the .htaccess file joomSEF generated after installation:

Options FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} (/|\.htm|\.php|\.html|/[^.]*)$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule (.*) index.php

and it doesn't work. ( using ceskyhosting ) On other hosting where I can use .htaccess file all is working fine for me. So I think it is problem of this rewrite_rules. Please HELP.
