Hi,
I've recently installed Jomsef on my joomla 1.0.3 site. The install went ok, i got all the succefull documentation after the install, then i went to components - jomsef, and all the site (backend and frontend) went completely down with the message \"CGI ERROR\" and aboce it says \"ERROR 500\", now i can't do anything, because i can't access to adminsitration to unistall the component and try to install it again..
Can anyone please help on this?

Hello,

cannot say anything about the CGI ERROR, but the 500 error may be connected to the .htaccess file. (maybe it is not support on your server, or it included unsupported directives?)

Try deleting it -- if you cannot unistall JoomSEF, just delete its folders components/com_sef and administrator/components/com_sef.

Did you try pure Joomla! SEO before? If it was working, then you should have no problems with JoomSEF either.
