My hoster renamed .htaccess to .htaccess.bak. What I havo to do to JoomSEF (2.1.1) worked again?

any reason why he did so?
If you want JoomSEF to work, you need the .htaccess file to be present and configured correctly. So rename it back to .htaccess or create a new .htaccess file.

I dont know why he did so but if I renamed .htaccess.bak to .htaccess server responds error 500 ;(

Hi,

if you get 500 (Internal server error), it means there is some error in the .htaccess fily. Probably some typo or unsupported directive.

Double check the file content a try to find out, which line causes this.
(sometimes e.g. FollowSymLinks is not supported and when uncommented, you may get this error)
