I've got a couple of ExposePrive wedding albums on a test site that I'm running.

I left the URL's to build automaticall and ti got completely confused and didn't load the page correct. I've now switched off auto generation and manually entered in the URL.

The URL is index.php?option=com_exposeprive&Itemid=53&album=5 and I've set the SEF URL to Wedding Album.

This is loading as a drop down off the menu as a URL. The item is loaded ok, although the full URL is still showing.

Can anyone advise please?

1. well, the URLs with autogeneration might get crazy as com_exposeprive is not generally supported by JoomSEF and it would need an additional plug-in to work fine (I have noted it down and added to our list of extension that can be supported, but the list is already quite long and our time options limited)

2. as regards the problem wit the original URL showing -
if the component is set not to use JoomSEF generation engine, then JoomSEF will ignore it completely, so even if you enter the URL manually then, it will not be translated;

in such case, you need to leave the JoomSEF to generate the "crazy" URLs and then edit them and make them reasonable in the URL editor. The best is to mark them as "custom edited" thus they will not be accidentally deleted on URLs purge.
