yes, that should work. The page title is [product name] - [site name] by default.
It can be set in JoomSEF Metabot settings.

If it does not appear to be working, make sure it is not some caching problem and that JoomSEF Metabot is active and working and not in conflict with any other mambot (plugin).

Hmm, that's strange, I've already been into the mambot section and tried various combinations and it doesn't work - only for non-VM titles (I have the VM add-on)

What are the global Joomla SEF settings supposed to be, and are there any settings in the component that might affect it?

Here are my versions in use.

JoomSEF = 2.1.0
VM add-on = 1.6
Mambot = 1.5.3

As regards JoomSEF I would certainly recommend upgrading to the latest version.
As regards the VM add-on, it seems you are using some other than ours by ARTIO. We do not have version 1.6. So, you might want to try with ours.

As you can see in our webshop at this site, it works fine. We are also still at J1.0.x, so it should work for you in the same way.

Aah, maybe that's the problem, I paid for the VM download before but needed to rebuild the site. If I PM you with my order number can I downlaod it again?
