Hi Guys

eTickets looks like it may fit a current requirement I have to implement a ticket sales system for a Joomla 3 gantry template based website. But can you tell me if the seat charting tick boxes used for selecting seats could overlay an a layout like the one in this link and still look good and be functional? The layouts will change from venue to venue so Im hoping it wont be too hard to change each time. Heres the current ticketing system and layout: afcmma.com.au/afc_ticket/index.php

I noticed on your DEMO that the tick boxes are in a simple grid form, but not all venues are set out this way.. obviously ;)

Venue map could be based on the flash animation. It means that there is no limitation to show just simple boxes

That sounds cool, but could you find the time to elaborate a little please? and do you have any examples by any chance?

E-Tickets are not optimalised for Joomla 3 yet and we can't say the release date at the moment.

Thanks for the heads up maju. Im not in a rush as we have a working solution currently, but I would still like to know if e-Tickets can fulfil my seating chart requirement as im willing to wait ;)

Ok.

There are included three types of plugins:

• default - checkboxes (standard and first version)
• flash - this plugin can be modified for any type of hall
• advanced - new and modernized type of default plugin, checkboxes are hidden and it also allow to modify design of hall

There is also posilibility to add there also own plugins modified for your use. But flash or advanced will be probably possible to use. There can be only problem with right side of image you posted here. Flash allow rotation for seats, but not for the whole section. So seats can be rotated, but will be set in axis.
Advanced plugin is html + css. It can be modified with css3 (for new browsers) and probably there is possibility to rotate the whole section.

But as lubi said. There are finally no limitations.
