Hi,
I'm running Book it 1.5.9 on Joomla 2.5.4.
I am configuring hourly bookings. When I test it a person can book a time slot without paying. The system blocks this time slot so another user can't book it. The 'Reservation expiration' is set to 'Online Payment only'. Is there an additional step which I am missing in order to stop the system blocking the slot without payment?

Book it! 1.5.9 is last version compatible with Joomla 2.5. I recommend you to update Joomla 2.5 to the newest version.

To your problem. It is not so old feature and Joomla 1.5.9 probably contained bugs. Normally when you create reservation with this settings (Reservation Expiration: Online Payments Only), it should create reservation with status canceled. After payment, it change status to reserved.
I tested it on Book it! 2.0.5 and it works this way.
Canceled status means that the time will be not blocked for other users.
