He needs full explicit, step by step instructions on how to install and operate the extension so that he can recreate the scenario that happens when the extension is installed and enabled.
I have trasnferred this account to him and given him the login information to access this forum

He is using Joomla 1.15.19 with the Artio JoomSEF 3.7.4 and the VirtueMart 2.0.33 extension with VirtueMart 1.1.4 as mentioned in the previous message.

It's too late. I've already been kicked off the project because I could not fix the problem. and there is no url to check. Why is Artio JoomSEF even interacting with the checkout system url's to begin with? The minute I installed the extension it became a nightmare. I'll never use this hunk of junk product again. It flat out does not work

I am having an issue similar to this...and I cannot find a solution to it.


I am having 2 issues since installing Artio JoomSEF 3.7.4 with the VirtueMart extension version 2.0.33 while running Joomla version 1.15.19 and VirtueMart 1.1.4 Stable.

Issue #1:
Upon clicking the “Cart” button in the pop up window after adding a product to the cart it is redirecting me to the site main page and displaying the cart beneath the content of the main page. I do not know why it is doing this but I DO know that it is directly caused by the ARTIO JoomSEF extension and the VirtueMart extension that works with it, because everything was working fine prior to that.

Issue#2:
It is redirecting you to the main page and the checkout Step 2 is being displayed beneath the main content of the page. It IS an issue with ARTIO JoomSEF extension that is causing this. Why it is doing this I have not a clue. I went through every setting within the extension and everything is set as it should be According to the FAQ’s and support forums on your site.

I have attached two screen captures showing the issues in hopes that this can be resolved.

I am having a serious problem.

I am running Joomla 1.15.19, VirtueMart 1.1.4 and Artio JoomSEF 3.7.4 with the VirtueMart extension version 2.0.33.

When I try to order a product. on Step 2 of the process I click the checkout button and it redirects me to my site index page. I have checked through the FAQ's on this site and the forums and found no solution that works.

IN my JoomSEF control panel the Set Server QUERY_STRING is set to "Yes"
I've tried the "Fix index.php links" setting with both No and Yes...and the same thing happens every time.

Nothing is working and I need a solution to this problem ASAP! HELP!!!!
