Not all 301 redirects work and it's those that end up back in the 404 log.
Plus some that do work, still show 'Never' in the Last used column.

These are some of the strange URL’s that appear in the 404 log:

calendar2.js

From the 404 log I have created 301 redirects for some URL’s, and then I’ve gone back into 404 log and deleted the URL’s for which I’ve just created the 301 redirects for. However the next day the same 404 URL’s are back in the log. If I create another 301 redirect, I end up with duplicates.

Also can you stop 404 URL’s for .gif, .png .css files etc appearing?

Under Extensions Management, VirtueMart is showing I can upgrade from 2.0.15 to 2.0.16
However when I click the Upgrade button I get this error


If I try to upload the latest package through the Upgrade tab I get this error


I'm on JoomSEF version 3.5.3

I was able to upgarde the User extension without issue.

By any chance were you installing the FREE plugin?

I found another JEvents plugin under the paid section. I brought it, installed it, and now all is fine.

The FREE version (ext_joomsef3_events.zip) is only 2.52KB whereas the paid version (ext_joomsef3_jevents.zip) is 5.05KB

JEvents extension not working.

I'm getting - Not Installed - under Component heading in Installed SEF Extensions, even though it says it installed successfully.

I'm running Joomla 1.5.15 and JEvents 1.5.2
