thanks for the help but it didn't work neither. The problem with your solution is that the checkout crush after the page renamed "ssl_redirect" (the page where you have to validate the shipping address and the shipping method).

Ok I'm a little confused,

1. I bought joomsef + virtuemart extension -> checkout doesn't work.

2. It may be a specific problem then I bought a Support and receive an email from Artio support team on wednesday 24th april -> I gave them all the info to work on it on the concerned website server

3. monday 4th may : still no answerand checkout still doesn't work -> sending a new email to artio support team

4. today, monday 11th may : still no answer, I paid joomsef + vutuemart extension + 1h support and url rewriting still doesn't work.

Can you guys at least tell me WHEN you'll check my problem??? PLEASE

in my joomsef config parameter "Base href tag:" is set to "Use homepage" (by default).
I've tried joomsef on another local site with joomla with hardly no customization and i have exactly the same problem. I tried it online: same problem.
Can you tell me how to engage technical support ?

I tried custom redirect but no positive result. In fact It's hard for me to understand how that can resolve my problem. If you can give me a hint you're welcome.

the problem n°1 is when I click on a form submit button I'm redirected on the homepage. If my homepage content is only Flash it displays only the Flash, if my homepage content is only html it displays homepage htlm + the next page html that would normally be displayed!
Example: if I click on the update cart button in the cart page I'm redirected on my homepage that displays its content + cart page.
Note: QUERY_STRING is setted to 'yes'.

problem n°2: this issue was posted more than 5 days ago. Can you tell me if this can be fixed or turnarounded very soon? Otherwise I have to find another solution and then what's the process for being refunded?
It is very urgent my customer awaits.

I've just purchased joomSEF and his Virtuemart plugin.
The checkout doesn't work even with "set server QUERY_STRING setted to "yes" on my local server.
I read the FAQ and scanned the Forum but I didn't found any solution.
Did I missed something?
I can't apply joomSEF online until it works and my customer awaits...
