When selecting "show Shipping Details" the invoice inserts the description "UPS Shipping" but not the modifier within the shipping system for Ground, Three Day Select or Next Day Air. The invoice generated by the VM system indicates the shipping method but I can't find a way to get the actual UPS shipping method to show up on the invoice.

When creating invoices from the back end with ARTIO, I have the shipping options listed in Virtuemart but nothing available for shipping details as those listed above. If I could get VM Invoice to pull the field Virtuemart uses to display the shipping details, it would be perfect.

We usually print the pdf generated invoice in the warehouse but have to pull up the order online or in the confirmation email to get detailed shipping instructions.

Is there a way to pull the information from Virtuemart to have it displayed on the pdf generated invoice?

Which plugin do you use for UPS shipping? It's probably not supported in VM Invoice. We'll check it and try to implement a support for it in some future version. You could also purchase our paid support to get the implementation done right away.

We are using the iStraxx UPS shipping module for Virtuemart with Joomla 2.5.

At the time, the only viable UPS module for this version of Joomla.

We are working around it, but take a look and see what might be involved with a fix or recommend a UPS module that works with VM Invoice.

Hello. We introduced some changes of displaying shipping details on invoice in last version, so the name and description of shipping is now directly taken from order plugin table. So it can be fixed for you currently.

But it is also possible that not. Plugin can save data in different format (field in question is table #__virtuemart_shipment_plg_* - shipment_name or function renderPluginName inside plugin). In that case we would need source code of UPS shipping module or at least format how it saved data to "shipment_name" field. Then we can adjust our component for it.
