TOPIC: wrong 404 pages are stored / wrong REFERER

wrong 404 pages are stored / wrong REFERER 14 years, 2 months ago #14371

Hello,
since update to JoomSef 3.7.0. -> 3.7.2 i have some strange behavior of our dual speaking (de/en) joomla site:

The configuration is JoomFish/language integration/include in path

If i provoke an 404 eror by typing in a page in the browser which doesn't exist, like

www.example.com/de/xyz/page-b.html

the 404 page writes, the page "xyz/page-b.html" does not exist. But only "de/xyz//page-b.html" would be correct.
Also every page, which does an action and analyses the $_SERVER(REFERER) leads to that wrong page.
Also this wron page is stored in the 404 table of JoomSef.

I hope, you understand the problem, if not please have a look on www.drak.de.

Hello,

I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand. Is the problem that you enter "de/xyz/page-b.html" but only "xyz/page-b.html" is stored in JoomSEF's 404 log?
And please, give me some example of the REFERER problem - what URL you are at, what URL you access from it, and what the REFERER value is.

Best regards,

Yes, exactly.

And please, give me some example of the REFERER problem - what URL you are at, what URL you access from it, and what the REFERER value is.
I think it is the same thing as the above problem. It's not so easy to show an example. If you log in or log out on my site and you are on page "de/xyz/page-b.html" the redirect is leading to page "xyz/page-b.html". The algorithm in the login/logout system analyses the REFERER.
You have to register and login to see.

The problem with wrong 404 URL will be fixed in next version.
As regards the login and logout, I've just tried it on www.drak.de and it works fine most of the times. Also the REFERER is not changed by JoomSEF in any way. But I think there may be some problem with cache, because sometimes when I logged in to English page and then changed language to Deutsch, the "Benutzermenu" looked as if I wasn't logged in, but when I refreshed the page, it was OK, so try checking if there's some cache enabled for the login module.

Very well, hopefully this takes not so very long.
As regards the login and logout, I've just tried it on www.drak.de and it works fine most of the times.
I have at least one page, which gives an 404 error like described before:

www.drak.de/de/produkte/wasseraufbereiter/aquadrakon-el.html

The only (known) difference to other pages is, that it has no explicit English translation in JoomFish (without explicit translation JoomFish displays the German side per default).
There are only the normal joomla caches active. The login/logout system do not have an other cache as far as i know.

BTW: This system is a bridge between Joomla and vBulletin by bbpixel, if this could help.

Thank you for the help so far.

best regards
