I just installed and set up the paid version of JoomSef on a website and am getting the following error when attempting to use the "Mail To Friend" feature (Mail To Component).

Please let me know if there is a fix for this error... Fatal error: Call to undefined function: array_diff_key() in /home/server_name/public_html/site_folder/components/com_sef/joomsef.php on line 616

Helllo,

yes, this is caused by old version of PHP that does not include this function. Probalbly, you are still using PHP 4.
Please, upgrade to PHP 5.2.x, that is recommended for usage with JoomSEF and Joomla 1.5.

this seems to have been the problem... I thought I was running 5.2.x all along and thanks to your response I contacted my host and it resolved the issue for quite a number of items that involved SEF.

Hi Jan,

My client's site which was referred to in the original post above sunkissedgirlz.com has been suspended by the host for exceeding CPU usage. In trying to track down the problem I have been uninstalling components and other Add-ons that may be causing the problem and have checked out the Error Log and found the same message (PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: array_diff_key() in /home/vickme2/public_html/skg/components/com_sef/joomsef.php on line 616) in the logs

BUT... the site is no longer in /home/vickme2/public_html/skg/ - The site was moved to a new server over 2 months ago and should be found in public_html/... Can you shed some light on this?

Hello,

What date is the error message from? Was the site already moved back then? If there's still the /home/vickme2/public_html/skg/ directory existent on the server, maybe there is still the old path stored somewhere in the Joomla's configuration, so the files are called from different place. Anyway, if you've already upgraded your PHP you shouldn't encounter this error anymore.
