TOPIC: Joomla 1.6!

Looking into Joomla! 1.6 and the release of the Beta which is not far off... I'm thinking of migrating one of my none Joomla! sites to Joomla! 1.6.

I was wondering if Artio JoomSEF works/is going to work with Joomla! 1.6?

We haven't tested JoomSEF with Joomla 1.6 yet, but we are going to test it as soon as possible.

Great that you are looking into 1.6, I assume you guys are waiting for the 1.6 beta?

Do you by any chance have any information on the default SEF functionality in Joomla! 1.6? I've been looking, but not finding any information...

Assuming that Artio JoomSEF will bring added functionality to the table for Joomla! 1.6, will you be "rewriting" Artio JoomSEF for Joomla! 1.6?

Hello,

we expect the SEF in Joomla 1.6 will be similar as in 1.5. That means, that there is still "space" for JoomSEF, as it can do much more than a standard fully automated SEO engine in Joomla.

We would like to release the beta together shortly after the 1.6 beta is released.
