TOPIC: How do I find the Old Non-SEF Url??

How do I find the Old Non-SEF Url?? 14 years, 8 months ago #9867

I just installed this and have a number of 404 errors already coming in. I was previously using the MyBlog component that had it's own seo options.

When going through the 404 errors I see many pages that I can simply redirect to the new joomsef url but it does not ask for the old seo url but rather the Old Non-SEF Url.

I have no idea how to find that one and I'm hoping that someone can help... and that I haven't just killed my current results in Google - it took me a year to dominate the first 3 page results!

Hoping someone can advise...

Hello,

You can create the redirects using the Manage 301 Redirects page. There you just set the URL from and URL to, both relative to your web root and without the leading slash. For example:

URL From: "this-was/old-url"
URL To: "this-is/new-url"

Hope this helps.
