TOPIC: Enabling Cache Messes Up SEF Urls

Enabling Cache Messes Up SEF Urls 14 years, 2 months ago #14680

Hello,

I seem to be having an issue whenever I enable cache on my website.

What happens is my site will run perfectly fine for a few minutes...then all of a sudden the links get all weird. Whenever you click on a menu item link, it brings up what looks like a sitemap. The url that is supposed to be mysite.com/services changes into the following: mysite.com/index.php....../cache/template/services

Does anybody have any idea what's going on?

In joomla global configurationI have all the following set to yes:
Search Engine Friendly URLs
Use Apache mod_rewrite
Add suffix to URLs

Both the cache and Artio JoomSEF plugin are enabled.

Thanks for the help!

Hello,

Unfortunately, we haven't found the cause of this problem with cache yet. Please, post us some information about your server configuration to help us locating it:

In Joomla's administration, open Help -> System Info and post your Database Version, Database Collation, PHP Version, Web Server and Web Server to PHP interface.
Then please post your Joomla and JoomSEF versions. Also, if you use JoomFish, post its version too.

Thank you.

Best regards,
