Hello,

I have ARTIO JoomlaSEF installed, whenever I enable it it renames all the files fine - but - The articles on the front-page load inside the mainpage (with all the mainpage articles present) instead of in the blank article format page.

This is not specifically related to this plug-in (this happens with the default joomla SEF, and 404SEF) but I figured people here might have seen this problem before (I'm not getting much response on the Joomla forums)

This is my mainpage.

When i click 'Read More' it SHOULD show up like this.

But when i enable SEF it shows like this

I've done all of this.


(i) Set the Global Configuration parameter Use Apache mod_rewrite to Yes
(ii) Set the Global Configuration parameter Search Engine Friendly URLs to Yes
(ii) Copy the file htaccess.txt file provided by Joomla! to the file .htaccess and this file should be in the directory where the file configuration.php is located.
(iii) edit the file .htaccess and make sure to uncomment the line # RewriteBase / and the uncommented line would be RewriteBase / (my site is in the main directory)
(iv) set $live_site in configuration.php to my site's URL

But still, whenever I try to go to an article from the main page it loads it inside the front page instead of going to a new one.

I also added RewriteRule (.*) www.google.com to the .htaccess file and it redirected fine so apache is working.

Hello,

I guess the modules shouldn't be there due to their Menu assignment. In that case, there is some problem with Itemid parameter not handled correctly. Go to JoomSEF Configuration, Advanced page and check that "Exclude source info" and "Reappend source info" are both set to "No". If they are and the problem is still there, try setting them both to "Yes".

They were set to No by default, I tried changing them both to Yes (and cleared by cache) but it made no difference.
