TOPIC: Wordpress Extension removes all html on blog

Wordpress Extension removes all html on blog 14 years, 9 months ago #11119

I've just purchase JoomSEF along with the commercial extensions for the various products I run, one of which is Core PHP Wordpress MU.

Once installed my blog page comes up with no html, just text, I've tried uninstalling the extension from the Artio control panel, however the situation persists.

Can someone please advise urgently as I now have no blog functionality on my site.

Everything else is working fine!

Hello,

Is there any error message shown on the page? Maybe you will need to enable error_reporting on your server to see it, or you can take a look in the server log.
Or could you please post the link so I can see the page myself?

Best regards,

Hello,

No I don't receive an error message, the page just now comes up in outline form only.

Here is the URL for the page.

www.raceclassic.tv/index.php/blog

I'm still having this issue along with a new one that has started with your Eventlist plugin, its the same problem re-direct that to a page without the html.

These problems won't get resolved without your support can you please respond. In anticipation of what seems to be the usual holding tactic of asking for a url and then never replying again here is one of the new issue.

raceclassic.com/racing/racing

As regards the first URL, then it does not appear to be JoomSEF URL.
JoomSEF does not generate URLs, that would include "index.php" in it. That does only Joomla core SEF when mod_rewrite is turned off.

As regards the orher URL - raceclassic.com/racing/racing - that seems to be a URL to RSS feed. What is the original (non SEF) URL stored in JoomSEF DB for this link?

Hello

The first URL was for the CorePHP Wordpress MU blog page, I purchased your Wordpress SEF component but guess it only works for the Wordpress single product not for CorePHP's MU variant, anyway those guys are great they hopped on the site right away and sorted that one, I'll find out what JoomSEF did to the Wordpress URL and update you.

As to the second URL, it is to do with an Event List page which lists all of the content for a particular category on my site or it should have been, I've still no idea what is happening. I also purchased the EventList component from you but it's a bit flakey. It's created all sorts of havoc, what I've had to do is uninstall the JoomSEF EventList component, and purge all my URLs. I then reinstalled the JoomSEF Eventlist component and most have been fixed except the second one I've posted about, what I've had to do for it and a couple of others is to disable the individual JoomSEF URL's for the respective pages, these in the main are the EventList landing category pages which have all the event listings for their respective categories. The individual listings themselves are ok. Nothing I do fixes the issue in JoomSEF, I've attempted to enter a customised JoomSEF URL for the problem pages but to no avail. Here is the correct URL for the page.

raceclassic.com/index.php?Itemid=134&...egoryevents&id=1

I also run several iJoomla products on my site SEO, NewsPortal & RSS and have purchased the JoomSEF NewsPortal component which seems fine, however JoomSEF doesn't appear to like the iJoomla RSS component so I've had to turn off the JoomSEF URL to the iJoomla RSS landing page, which exhibited similiar behaviour as the problems I've mentioned.

There are several JoomSEF URL's for any single page the extra ones appear to be RSS related.

I'd like to understand what the issue is with the EventList Component and why JoomSEF doesn't seem to play nice with iJoomla RSS.
