We have purchased JoomSEF component and also Virtumart extension. I have tried to generate sef urls but JoomSEF still generates non-SEF urls for product pages. Any idea where did I go wrong?

My non-sef url looks like this: "index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=yagendoo_VaMazing_2.tpl&product_id=96&category_id=7&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=16"

Btw, shouldnt I use escape "\" before dot "." for regular expression?

This doesn't seem like a problem with variables filtering, since you have selected "Don't SEF variable", so only some variable shouldn't be SEFed, not the whole URL. Yes, you would normally escape the dot in regular expression, but not inside the [ and ] brackets.
