Please advise ASAP.

My site was working GREAT. But i realised that all links were going to (for example) 456.764.365.67/rickslivefood.co.uk/shop/product1

So i went into config file and changed live site from i.p based to the url www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Now none of the pages work, I have purged the SEF URLS but that hasnt helped.

Please could you advise as this site is supposed to live today!!

It seems the problem may be your htaccess file because it is an internal server error.

check if you have the .htaccess file under your server location.

I havent touched the htaccess, I simple changed the location of the LIVESITE in config.php

in order to make the Artio works, you need to have Joomla SEF works first.

how to know if the joomla sef works

for example:
www.site.com/component/option,com_virtuemart/page,shop.search/

This one should come up with your Advanced Search page

make sure you have the htaccess file under
www.rickslivefood.co.uk/

you said you didn't touch. yape that is right. since you change the directory to an upper level the htaccess.

What was your previous config url?
what is the exsiting one?

what is your structure of your webserver? eg. /public_html/yoursite/......? or just /public_html/......
