Dear Sirs,
First of all - thanks for your JoomSEF plugin.

The plugin was installed correctly without any errors.
SEF URLs were generated with default parameters.

The problem is - i can't reach any page by SEF link. (i.e. /faqs.hml)
in JoomSEF URLs Manager i can see correct correspondence

i do can reach the page by typing "/index.php?option=com_content&id=3&view=section&Itemid=41 " in address bar, but if i choose FAQ Menu or type /faqs.html in address bar i get error

"Object not found!

The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. "

while "reffering page" link shows correct address in status bar.

but if i click this link i get "/index.php%3foption=com_content&id=3&view=section&Itemid=41" in address bar.
As you can find the symbol "?" was replaced with "%3f".

What should i fix in configuration?

Hello,

In my opinion the %3F is just a browser encoding such characters in URL. The problem with 404 will be probably the wrong or not supported .htaccess file content. Please, read the JoomSEF FAQ and documentation.

if %3f -is a browser mistake why the same browser doing well with JoomSEF swiched off?!
in that case - all content are displayed normal by navigating from menu of cross-content pages+ there are "?" symbol in address bar.

as to .htaccess file - it was created during JoomSEF installation.
I've checked it many times - it's the same one as in Documentation. (except for /root directory)

rem: my test site is in utf-8 encoding; browsers are Firefox and IE: the behavior is the same for both of them, but in IE status bar "reffering page" link immediately appears with %3f.

Ok, try disabling JoomSEF but leave the core Joomla SEO enabled to see if the .htaccess file and SEF links work correctly. Also, which version of Joomla are you using? If it's 1.5, enable htaccess rewrite for core SEO.
