TOPIC: Problems with JoomSef and Sobi - URGENT PLEASE

Problems with JoomSef and Sobi - URGENT PLEASE 16 years, 3 months ago #4790

Hi,

I have Sobi installed and am setting it up. I had it working with Artio JoomSEF 2.6.0 but the urls were /sobi.3.html etc. I purchased the Sobi Plugin and installed it but it made absolutely no difference Iver 1.1.1). I upgraded Artio JoomSEF to v2.3. All non Custom URL's have been purged and cache cleaned. I still get the sobi/3.html urls but they ALL give a 404 now.

I have uninstalled the plugin but its still the same....

www.ashburtononline.co.nz/site/new-district-directory.html

No URLs are being made but SEF is fine elsewhere throughout the site.

In Artio Config com_Sobi is set to use default handler and I have entered New District Directory as a Custom title which works.

Adding an entry works too.

I checked and NO SOBI url's are being made.

My Plugin settings are

Ignore multiple sources: Use global config
Itemid handling: Use global config
Add contact ID to URL: No
Add categories to URL: No
Add category ID to URL: No
Preventing search duplicates: Use first category found

HELP PLEASE!!

Joomla 1.0.15

Hello,

The SOBI2 causes problems with SEF when its Second Level Cache is enabled. Go to SOBI2 -> Configuration -> General Configuration -> Cache and disable Second Level Cache. That should help.
