TOPIC: Problems with JoomFish

Problems with JoomFish 14 years, 10 months ago #9831

Hi.

I have a working site with JoomSEF, but since when I installed JoomFish the site in a second language is only partly working.

I must say that the translation is still in progress, but I don't see why this should cause misfunction.

Anyway, I translated the menu, the first page and few other contents linked in the main menu.

When I'm on the welcome page, I switch to english, the site turns to english, and it's ok.
Sadly, all the links of the menu points back to the italian (default) version. And all the links are untranslated, even those which has a translation!

What can it be?
All modules and plugins sems to be correctly installed and configured.

Thanks

I've seen that already, thanks, but I don't have any Joomfish router plugin installed

Are you sure? That would mean that your JoomFish is probably not installed correctly. Please, take one more look in your plugins, the exact name should be "System - Jfrouter". This plugin needs to be disabled. Sorry for the name mismatch in FAQ.

thank you very much for your reply, now I found the plugin and disabled it, but stil i'm having troubles.

I disabled the plugin, cleared JoomSEF cache and purged SEF urls, went to the homepage, but still when I switch language the urls of the menu are for the italian version.

In JoomSEF I have these settings for JoomFish:
Integration: include in path
always use language: no
translate urls: yes
get language from browser setting: yes
save language cookie: no
main language: italian

thank you for your help.

Try changing the Always use language to Yes and if that doesn't help try setting the Main language to (none). Let me know if any of these helps.
