Thanx shumisha for your valuable contributiom. I have been testing your upgraded component for the past 24 hours and it works great. It is by far the most joomfish compatible SEFcomponent available.

I pledge the ArtioSEF team to include this functionality of yours into the next release.

For months I have been looking for a solution for my SEF multilingual site, and finally I have found it. There is just one thing that bothers me. I have an estabilished site, with SEF Advanced component installed on it. I would definetely like to switch to ArtioSEF but i have one problem. The URLs on my site look like:

www.mysite.com/section.htm

www.mysite.com/section/categoty.htm

www.mysite.com/section/categotry/content_item.htm

artioSEF's URLs look like

www.mysite.com/section/ and there is no option to make them look like
www.mysite.com/section.htm

This is very important to me since all my indexed pages would return a 404 - not found.

Shumisha, would it require much hussle to change this?

Michal. do you plan to include this option in the upcoming release. If im correct, all other SEF components have this option.

Thank you very much for your great work.

Kind regards.

Hello kenjueke !

Thanks for your positive comments. Unfortunately, I do not have any time to go back into the code to do this. Furthermore, I would not have the required resource to provide a good support on such a complicated and important component, which is the reason I made my changes available, and trust other people such ARTIO whill do a much better job than me to deliver a good component and support.

More directly related to your problem, I would suggest that you setup custom redirect to solve it. This should not be too much of a problem, unless you have thousands of categories and section.
You can create a custom redirect (in ARTIO SEF cPanel) that will redirect any request for www.mysite.com/section.htm to www.mysite.com/section/
This redirection is done properly, through a 301 - Moved permanently answer to the request, so any search engine will be happy with it, including Google.

In addition to what's above, I'd like to inform you that I have added in the downloads a modified version of the Joomfish language selection module, as I was not able to switch back to main language using the standard module. I had done it some times ago, just forgot to put it in the download section at the forge
