i'm trying to understand how could you let this error appears...



So when i delete a specific link to com_contacts generated by JoomSEF i get the following error. And after the link is generated,the message disappear. I think it's unacceptable to show error like this in the front panel. You show the structure of the database like this..i'm very disappointed from JoomSEF. How can i trust this module in that way???

P.S.
I have one more question. Why do i need to have installed joomfish to use joomsef?
When i install joomsef on fresh joomla copy,i always get the same message...it was something like..
The JoomlaControlPanel class could not be found...or something simillar.

What versions of Joomla and JoomSEF do you use? Could you describe the steps needed to reproduce this problem?

JoomFish is not needed, there was a bug in 3.7.1 version causing JoomSEF not working under some circumstances when JoomFish was not installed, but that was fixed in 3.7.2.

About the second question...i noticed it in JoomSef 3.7.1.
Now,i'm using JoomSef 3.7.2 and Joomla 1.5.20.
Yes...first..i follow all links in the front panel. JoomSef self-generate SEF links. After that i go in the back panel and delete the generated link to the com_contacts.
After that i return to the front panel and click over the Contacts link..and..the error you saw.
So the message appears when no link to com_contacts is generated,after that..seems to be OK..

It seems that this message is not displayed by JoomSEF, but either by Joomla or directly by PHP. I've found a topic about it on some forum and people suggested to change the database type in Joomla's Global Configuration from mysql to mysqli.
