Joomla 1.0.15 and Joomsef not working?

kane357 OFFLINE Posts: 15	Its not just joomla, its virtuemart and other extensions. Install virtuemart and the patch and use the most up to date versions. Install the sef and plugins. You will get rediculous errors. Also, why dont you check out what he said, when he purges and recreates he gets an error.!!!! Did you try that?

I decided to try and do the test again and downloaded the site to my local drive and ran a server on a stick program to get this going and testing. I still get the errors after patching locally. Im using vm, joomla, and your plugin. Everything is up to date.

Not sure if this helps anyone - but I got it to work - what was my method - well test all the others then try Joomsef again :)

Truth - I uninstalled Joomsef, installed sh404sef, got that working but that caused me other headaches so un-installed that, tried and played with Sef Advanced but that has a few missing extensions and therefore un-installed that and then reinstalled Joomsef and what do you know - all fixed :)

Lucky or not I'm a happy guy once again :)

Hi,

I still can't repeat this bug. Here's what I've tested now:

Installed VM 1.0.14 with sample data - everything fine.
Installed VM 1.1.0 RC1 with sample data - everything fine.

Then I deleted my test directory, installed Joomla 1.0.13 with sample data again, installed VM 1.1.0 RC1 with sample data, installed JoomSEF 2.2.6 and VM extension - everything fine.
Then I patched Joomla to 1.0.15, purged previously created URLs and let them recreate - everything still working fine.

I've also tried to install Joomla to both the root directory and to a subdirectory of a webserver - in both cases, everything worked fine.

I would really appreciate if someone could post a bug report with information on how to repeat this bug.
