Hi, we have a Joomla 1.5.3 with Joomfish 2.0b and JoomSEF 3.1.2. running. Everything is fine, except one single link:

If the home Button (index.php or index.php?lang=en) is choosen from the English language (/en) the Mainmenu is in a different lanuage (preset), the rest of the page remains correctly in English.

This problem does not occur, if JoomSEF is disabled.

The URL index.php?lang=en is not chached in the SEF URLs.

Any idea, what we made wrong, any help?

I do have exactly the same problem.

I have Joomla 1.5.3 with Joomla 2.0 beta and JoomSEF 3.1.2.
My site has English and Japanese.
My home page is in English. So every new user will get my page in english by typing http:www.monsite.com/
All the URLs which began by index.php are being changed and translated by JoomSEF.


But, if from one Japanese page, I click on the default item of the menus (the item which leads to the home page),
normally with just Joomfish, it would be the home page in Japanese (I mean the page will remain in Japanese); but here with JoomSEF and Joomfish, just the contents of the page are still in Japanese and the items of the menus are translated in English.

I think it is due to the fact that JoomSEF doesnt manage the URL which doesn't begin by index.php?.....
because the original URL of the homepage is just www.mysite.com/

Do you have an idea to solve this issue.

Please, go to Extensions -> Plugin Manager and check that Joomfish's standard router plugin is disabled and that JoomSEF's plugin is enabled and the first in ordering.

yes, but when I disable the Joomfish plug-in, My site doesn't run at all.
Because the Joomfish component is enabled.
Do you want me to disable also the Joomfish component and the Joomfish language selector module?
I am not sure that the selection module will work after that.

The JoomSEF plugin is created to replace the JoomFish's router plugin functionality. What is the error reported when you disable JoomFish's router plugin? Note that you need to disable the jfrouter plugin, not the jfdatabase.

I'm using J! 1.5.7. Artio 3.2.0 and JoomFish 2.0 RC
