Hello,

I use iJoomla magazine as my default homepage. JoomSEF is setting the homepage url as www.mysite.com/home and any other links relating to the component have /home/ before them. How do I change it to show only www.mysite.com/ without the 'Home' tag.

I did search the forum but couldn't find anything. The FAQ isn't exhaustive enough.

Hello,

if you use JoomSEF version 2.2.1, you can set not to show menu title for particular components in JoomSEF's configuration - it's the checkbox next to Custom title field.
As regards the homepage URL, you can change it manually in View/Edit SEF URLs.

Thanks for feedback. Will need some help to cross the road on this one. I have disabled convertion of component joomla news (com_news_portal) in JoomSEF Configuration. This allows to see none SEO friendly URL for iJoomla News.

Can you tell me what are instructions I should do View / Edit SEF URLs part to SEO friendly URLS.

Example:

1) Home URL is looking like this: \"insidesomalia.org/index.php?option=com_n...Itemid=38\" I want it to be \"insidesomalia.org/\" or \"insidesomalia.org/index.php\"

2) News URL is looking like this: \"insidesomalia.org/index.php?option=com_n...temid=79\". It would be nice to have it looking like this \"insidesomalia.org/news/\" or \"insidesomalia.org/news/index.php\"

Sorry to be so detailed, but would help greatly overcome rather tricky part.
