I hope I'm not reposting an existing problem, if so, please send me to the correct topic, I did not find it.

First, some information:

Joomla 1.5.21 Stable
PHP Version 5.2.12
JoomSEF 3.7.4

When I enable JoomSEF, the domain name doesn't show in the URL, i.e. www.test.com/actueel/forse-toename-van-verhuur is shown as /actueel/forse-toename-van-verhuur so the link does not work.

Can anyone help me with a solution?

Hello,

This is a standard way how Joomla displays SEF links and there shouldn't be any problem with them, since any browser should correctly add the domain when such link is clicked.
Could you post the link to your website so I can see the problem myself?

Right now, I have JoomSEF enabled, so you can see what I mean. When I disable JoomSEF, the links on the website work fine.

We haven't had this problem before. The website has just been updated from Joomla 1.0.x to the most recent version. We've used JoomSEF before the update for years and it worked fine.

Any help is appreciated.

Did you try:
1) disabling JoomSEF (JoomSEF Control panel->Status panel on the right) and test
2) disabling Joomla URL rewriting (Joomla Configuration->Site) and test
3) disabling Joomla SEF and test (this should really work, of course)

Now I can see what you mean. I will need some more information about the pages linked by the wrong URLs. Are they the standard Joomla articles? What is the name of the category they're in? Please check the URLs created in JoomSEF's URL Manager. Do they start with the slash?
