Hello all.

I have a site that has 3 level of menus (parent->sub->subsub)

Before I installed Artio JoomSEF the ul and li elements using Joomla 1.5.x standard mainmenu module would give me the appropriate id and classes to properly style them with css... even to the 3rd sublevel.

After installing JoomSEF 3.2.0 - the first and second levels have the appropriate id and class to the li and a elements, but now the 3rd level never does...

Turning off JoomSEF gets me what I want, but that isn't what I want. I need to use JoomSEF b/c I have some custom urls I need for a few pages, which Joomla standard SEF urls won't let me do.

Anyhow - has anybody run into this before and if not - where should I look in the sef code to figure out what the bug is?

Please, in View/Edit SEF URLs chack that the links to 3rd level menus have correct Itemid set (it must correspond with the ID displayed in Menu Manager). In case they don't, try setting the "Ignore multiple sources (Itemid)" option to "No" in JoomSEF's configuration.

It does have the correct Itemid. In fact - though - it didn't exist in the SEF urls until I turned "Ignore Multiple Sources (Itemid)" to NO. Then it showed up in the SEF urls listing.

However - still no expected class and id when I'm on the page in the a nor li elements. This item also exists in a category blog layout page ... does that matter? Shouldn't.

The fact that URL wasn't present in SEF URLs until you changed configuration probably means some other problem. Have you cleaned the JoomSEF's and any other cache that you use?

Interesting - clearing all sef urls, 301 and custom redirects did the trick.

Wonder why it hiccupped in the first place?
