TOPIC: 404 ON SHARED SERVER

404 ON SHARED SERVER 14 years, 1 month ago #15052

I have installed Joomsef in my Joomla site on a shared windows server. I have edited my .htaccess file, enabled the component and enabled SEF and apache_mod_rewrite, but I'm still getting 404s. Feel sure its my RewriteBase setting. My FTP client shows /MacInnes/redcuillin.co.uk in remote site window and that's what I'm using. Can anyone help?

What version of IIS is your server running and what rewrite module do you have installed?
