I have several JoomlaSEF links (....://domain.int/component/content/article/8-general/52-go-the-mile) that get a 404 error when JoomSEF is enabled (works fine when JoomSEF is disabled). I have tried a variety of JoomSEF settings to "convert" these links to JoomSEF but no luck in the combination I have tried so far. Is there a setting (or group of settings) that will change these without having to go through every article and module change them to ..index.php?.... ??

I'm sorry, there is no way to convert these automatically to JoomSEF. However, if the "Parse Joomla SEO links" option is enabled in JoomSEF's configuration on Advanced tab, these old links should work correctly.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunatley the "Parse Joomla SEO links" is already set to YES and yet all the hard coded Joomla SEF article & modules based links send me directly to the 404 page. If this isn't a bug, I guess I am left with scouring to database for these types links and rewriting them to index.php?option=com_content.....uuggghhh.


After thought...would having "System - Legacy" enabled cause any issues with JoomSEF?

That's strange, it should work. We'll check this, maybe there is some bug in the current version.

The System - Legacy plugin shouldn't cause any problems with JoomSEF.
