404 error even everything looks OK 13 years, 11 months ago #18879

Hi,

I downloaded and installed the free edition version and everything went good however after enabling SEF and apache mod from the global configuration, 404 started to show with any link. Homepage comes up normal.

I checked the troubleshooting and checked the htaccess file however i cant understand the troubleshooting instructions that much.

my rewritebase looks normal however i dont know about my other rules, can you please help me with this?

Hello,

Could you please post your website's URL and at least one example of the non-working SEF URL?
Is your webserver running Apache or IIS?
Please also post the whole .htaccess file content.

Hey,

I have the same issue on vojtech.helikar.net

Even though I have set up all the global settings, htaccess file, SEFurls still do not work. Following is the htaccess.
My joomla is installed on subdomane so I am not sure if I should mention it in RewriteBase /
