Hi,

I can't automatically update or manually update my Joomsef + virtuemart SEF/SEO

this comes when i try automatic update and i have double checked download ID.

"Provided Download ID is not valid for the requested file: ext_joomsef3_virtuemart.zip. Please, make sure you are using valid Download ID for this product. ()"


This comes in manual install:

JInstaller::install: There is already a folder called '/home/sg1656/public_html/components/com_sef/sef_ext/com_virtuemart.php'. Please initially check whether:
• the Extension is already installed
• the file names in the XML file are spelled correctly
• there are no XML files listed inside the extension.xml file
• all of the files (not including XML files) are correctly listed in the extension.xml file and there are no duplicate entries
• there is an empty folder listed from a previous installation attempt

Install sef_ext Error

Adds SEO support for VirtueMart component.


Any idea how to update?

Problem is in Virtuemart extension

Hi,

For automatic update, you need to set correct Download ID for your VirtueMart extension. You can do so in Manage Extensions page in JoomSEF if you click the key icon in the Type column.

For automatic update, you need to use the Upgrade page in JoomSEF to upload the file, not Joomla's Install/Uninstall page.
