TOPIC: Will JoomSEF strip google urls

Will JoomSEF strip google urls 14 years, 3 months ago #14206

Hi,

I have a site with 250 pages indexed by Google, if i use Joomsef will this change the URLS 404 page not found error or does JoomSEF ijust change the urls to new & future articles and leave the old urls intact.

Hello,

JoomSEF changes all the URLs to new ones, but if Google indexes the old non-SEF URLs (like index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4), those still work and are automatically redirected to the new SEF ones.
