Hi JoomSEF Team,

I am using JoomSEF version - 4.4.0 in Joomla version 2.5.9.

I have manually changed the URL structure for some page on my website like the one below.

Original URL: www.website.com/sample.html
Custom structured URL: www.website.com/structure/sample.html

The reason for customizing so is that I needed a custom folder structure for some kind of URLs.

The problem now is for each time when I access this URL it throws a error in error log stating below.

[Tue Mar 26 04:30:44 2013] [error] [client IP address] File does not exist: /var/www/vhosts/website.com/httpdocs/structure, referer: www.website.com/structure/sample.html

Why it is looking for "structure" folder inside httpdocs and throws File does not exist error. We have spend lot of time with many workarounds to solve this issue with no help.

So the SEF URL works correctly on your website, the correct page is displayed, but there's an error in the error log?

Yes. The URLs works fine without any issue. It only throws the mentioned error in error log.

I'm sorry, I don't know what's causing this problem and I haven't found much information about it.
You may try to use the RewriteLog and RewriteLogLevel directives to log mod_rewrite's actions - see httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_rewrite.html#rewritelog. The log could give you some clues.
