I have Joomla 2.5, Artio JoomSEF 4.2.6 and J Events 2.1.16

I cannot seem to instal the extension for J Events, and it remains in the 'Components without SEF Extension installed" category.

Do you know if there is an issue with the extension ?

We currently don't offer our own JEvents extension for JoomSEF 4, so if it's a 3rd party extension, make sure that it's compatible with JoomSEF 4.

It seems to be a v3 extension, so does that mean there is no J events extension at this point ?

Probably not. We'll add it to our requested extensions list, but I cannot promise any ETA.
If you're interested in having the extension right away, we can create a JoomSEF 4 version for you as a paid service, see: www.artio.net/e-shop/support-services. The time needed would depend on complexity, if the URLs structure has changed in Joomla 2.5 or not. I estimate that it would take 2 - 4 hours.
