TOPIC: Going start raving mad. Mysql crashes 100% CPU

Going start raving mad. Mysql crashes 100% CPU 11 years, 8 months ago #37345

Hi there
I recently migrated from a Joomla 1.5 instance to a 2.5 instance. Identical server, the old site is still running happely with Joomsef 3 on J 1.5. New site is J 2.5 + JS 4.

I am trying to troubleshoot some urls that do a perpetual redirects. (Kunena) Whenever I try to view duplicate URLS or when I purge SEF urls, the mysql server gets stuck. I tried to copy the identical settings from the old website. Why am I getting this problem?

Please help. I am loosing it.

I tried recreating the issue. It seems to me it happens when I try to view duplicates in the SEF url manager. Any ideas why it's doing that or how I can fix it? The site is quite big, towards 60 000 SEF urls.

Hi,

Thank you for your report. I've found out that JoomSEF 4 still uses an old and less optimized query for duplicities list, which is more optimized in JoomSEF 3.
We will fix this in next version of JoomSEF 4.

I upgraded my joomsef to the latest, as well as all extentions.
Do you know if the issue is adressed in the new release?
