I have a demo website www.edukart.com/testing

Joomla 1.5, JoomSEF 3.9.9

Article links and other component links are not working. Only Menu links are working.

If you look at the footer and click on about us then it will redirect to home page.

One of the setting is creating issue.
Redirect nonSEF URLs to SEF: Yes.

If I make the above setting to No and then I click on about us, it takes me to correct page but url is not rewritten and I only want to show SEF url.

Kindly help.

It seems that when I open the page for the first time, the links are redirected by VirtueMart for example to:
index.php?option=com_virtuemart&category_id=2&page=shop.browse&Itemid=32&vmcchk=1&Itemid=32

The vmcchk variable is used by VirtueMart to check whether cookies are enabled. For some reason, that link is then redirected back to home page. Try disabling the cookie check in VirtueMart.

I had resolved this issue. But there is other issue too.
I want that if I type www.edukart.com/testing/index.php?option=com_contact_us then it should automatically redirect me to www.edukart.com/testing/contact-us.

It means that if I type NON SEF url then it should redirect to SEF url. And this is not happening.

Can you please guide on this.

This should happen automatically if you have the "Redirect nonSEF URLs to SEF" option enabled in JoomSEF's Configuration.

However, the URL you posted is not the correct non-SEF URL for a Contacts component in Joomla. You can find the non-SEF URL stored in JoomSEF's URLs Manager.
