TOPIC: Google Analytics malfunction

Google Analytics malfunction 12 years, 4 months ago #31271

Hello,

On Configuration > Google Analytics, I have fill all the necessary fields "Google e-mail", "Google password", "Web ID", "Google API key" and I already have selected (enabled) the yes radiobutton.

The google analytics code is appeared to the source code and I get statistics on my google analytics account but when I try to see the google analytics via the joomSEF 3.9.7 console: Control Panel > Extras Management > Statistics > Google Analytics, I Get the following message: The data could not be obtained. Please check your Google Analitycs settings.

First of all it is necessary to setup the Google API key so that to work this feature...

Does any other faced up something like that? Any ideas?

Hi,
This feature requires either cURL or OpenSSL library to be installed and enabled on your web server. You can check if they're available in your Joomla in Help -> System Info -> PHP Information.

cURL Information libcurl/7.15.5 OpenSSL/0.9.8b zlib/1.2.3 libidn/0.6.5

OpenSSL support enabled

In that case it should work. What's your Apache and PHP versions?
The Statistics tab currently is not working because of some changes on Google's side, but the Google Analytics access should work.
