TOPIC: JoomSef stops JoomlaCK Template Creator from worki

Re: JoomSef stops JoomlaCK Template Creator from worki 10 years, 5 months ago #45255

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestions - I quite understand that it's hard to find the answer without being able to actually access the site.

I can't try your ideas at the moment as I can't get into the admin back end, the login just giving a warning with no message. The front end is fine and the other Joomla installations on the same server have no problem. When I get it working again I'll give it a try and post the result.

Many thanks,
Adam

Hi,

I eventually got back in to the admin back end by enabling plg_authentication_joomla. This doesn't make me feel too confident about J3 as I thought the Joomla login problems had been resolved. At least with J1.5 anyone could log in :-)

I tried to follow your advice but can't access the advanced tab as I'm just using the free version. I've previously used SH404SEF and am trying out JoomSEF for the site rebuild.

Thanks,
Adam

Hi,

You don't need paid version to access the Advanced tab. Just enable the Professional mode on the Basic tab first and after saving the configuration the Advanced tab will be displayed.

Hi,

I tried your suggestions but without success. For now, I've set up a separate Joomla installation with which to work on the templates before importing them into the main site.

Thanks for your help - much appreciated!

Ciao,
Adam
