duplicate VM product URLs in the same category 12 years, 8 months ago #28548

Hello!

We have an issue with duplicate links to products in the same category:

www.vasedegatit.ro/vase-inox/studio

Joomla ver 1.5.23, JoomSEF ver 3.9.2, virtuemart plugin ver 2.1.0

Hi,
Well the products have the same name, so the URLs created are also the same. Go to JoomSEF -> Manage Extensions -> VirtueMart and there you can either enable Duplicate URLs numbering on the Common tab, or you can set it to add product ID or SKU to URL on the Extension tab.

Hello, thanks for the reply. Actual issue was with Joomla caching and Virtuemart. Problem described here with solution (replace fetch_cache with fetch function in virtuemart template):
